Job summary

Under a pharmacist’s supervision, you will prepare and dispense prescribed medications, compound IV solutions, and manage inventory and billing in compliance with state and federal laws.

You will maintain a safe, clean work environment, follow proper aseptic techniques, and stay up to date with department policies and Joint Commission requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Active pharmacy technician registration in the state.
• Experience with IV compounding and hospital procedures a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Compound intravenous solutions and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Manage inventory and perform charging/crediting functions.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.
