Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and compounding techniques.
• Proficiency in operating automated dispensing machines and inventory management software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded medications following USP guidelines.
• Maintains accurate records of dispensing, inventory, and controlled substances.
• Manages inventory levels, orders supplies, and conducts regular audits.
• Participates in quality assurance, safety checks, and medication storage reviews.
• Provides customer service to patients, nurses, and healthcare staff about medications.
• Operates and maintains pharmacy equipment and troubleshooting as needed.
• Supports pharmacists in medication reviews and history reconciliation.
