Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications in a fast-paced, highly regulated hospital environment.

You will perform pharmaceutical calculations, restock dispensing cabinets, manage inventory with automated systems, and ensure strict adherence to state and federal regulations to safeguard patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state of Utah (PHARMTECH:UT).
• Active CPTEXCPT or CPTPTCB or CPHT certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a pharmacy technician in accordance with policies for preparation and distribution of medication.
• Restock medication dispensing cabinets and fill first doses.
• Provide patient-specific medication delivery as required.
• Assist in narcotic distribution and discrepancy resolution.
• Ensure current dating of all supplies and medications.
• Maintain records and documents per state and federal regulations.
