Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a clean, safe pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Work with leadership to ensure correct medications are accurately packaged.
• Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Process orders through dispense, QA, and packaging stages.
• Count and label prescription vials and prepare bulk prescriptions.
