Job summary

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy in Plainfield, IN is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician. The role supports automated central fill operations across multiple locations, ensuring accurate prescriptions, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

This position requires Indiana license and national certification (PTCB or NHA ExCPT). Shifts include 1st and 2nd with a base pay of $24.00/hr plus $2.00/hr shift differential.

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Holds an active/valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and a national certification (PTCB or NHA ExCPT).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pharmacy systems and technology; monitor inventory levels and expiration dates.
• Restock and replenish medications in appropriate locations; perform cycle counts.
• Process and document pharmacy activities and inventory; report discrepancies to management.
• Assist pharmacist in prescription fulfillment and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Verify product size/strength, expiration dates, lot numbers, and labeling for prescriptions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support efficient automated central fill operations.
