Job summary

TidalHealth is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital team in Maryland. The role involves compounding IV medications, delivering drugs throughout the hospital, and supporting medication management with accurate labeling and computer entry. Experience with PYXIS systems is a plus.

We require Maryland registration, PTBC certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Hospital experience is preferred, and a robust benefits package is provided for eligible staff.

Certified Pharmacy Tech Position Summary

Our Pharmacy department is actively searching for a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This position compounds intravenous pharmaceutical products and delivers medications throughout the hospital. Other duties are filling orders for pharmaceuticals, typing labels, and entering information and orders into the computer system. The Tech works with PYXIS automated medication stations and helps maintain and perform daily tasks related to PYXIS. They may perform clerical administrative services as assigned.

Certified Pharmacy Tech Position Requirements

• Maryland State Pharmacy Technician Registration
• PTBC National Certification
• Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
