Position Summary

Certified PET Technologist is responsible for operating Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses. Technologist has obtained certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Position Qualifications
  • Graduate of school of Radiography or Nuclear Medicine.
  • 3 years
  • Required Registration/License/Certification.
  • BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer.
  • Preferred Education: Associates Degree.
  • Preferred Experience: 5 or more years.
  • Preferred Registration/License/Certification.
