Corky’s Pest Control in Los Angeles is seeking a dependable Pest Control Technician to protect residential and commercial properties. You’ll travel to client sites, identify pests, perform treatments, and advise on prevention.

The role requires CA certification or license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends. You’ll use handheld devices to document services and stay current with safety practices.

Qualifications

• Active California pest control certification or license preferred.
• California FR-2 license preferred.
• Experience providing residential and/or commercial pest control services preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for at least 3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

We provide residential and commercial pest control services, including monthly pest control and specialized gopher control. Qualifications

• Active California pest control certification or license preferred.
• California Field Representative Branch 2 (FR-2) license preferred.
• Experience providing residential and/or commercial pest control services preferred.
• Valid California driver's license held for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
• Comfortable using computers, smartphones, handheld devices, and related technology.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Availability for a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Occasional weekend work opportunities.
• If not already licensed, ability to obtain a structural pest control license within 90 days of hire.

What You'll Do

As a Pest Control Technician, you'll serve as an important connection between Corky’s and our customers. You'll travel to residential and commercial properties, identify pest issues, perform treatments, and provide recommendations that help prevent future problems.

• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing.
• Constantly look for the best solutions for our customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• This position requires regular physical activity, including: Safely moving throughout customer homes, businesses, and other properties.
• Ascending and descending stairs and ladders.
• Working in tight, confined, or difficult-to-reach areas.
• Safely moving items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Working outdoors in regular seasonal weather conditions.
• Performing physical labor and operating pest control equipment.
