Job summary

The Chickahominy Family YMCA is seeking certified Personal Trainers to design and implement exercise programs and to work closely with members. Pay ranges are $20-$22 per hour for Personal Trainers and $27-$30 per hour for Advanced Personal Trainers.

We are looking for individuals who can work flexible hours to accommodate members, and who may serve as a Wellness Coach on the wellness floor to build relationships, perform orientations, and conduct fitness evaluations.

Qualifications

• Certification from a nationally recognized personal trainer organization (ACSM/NSCA/ACE).
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement exercise programs for members.
• Work closely with members to support their fitness goals.
• Provide equipment orientations and conduct fitness evaluations.
• Clean equipment and assist members on the wellness floor.
