Job summary

The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is actively seeking certified Personal Trainers to design and implement exercise programs and to work closely with members. The pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour based on experience & certifications.

Responsibilities include flexible scheduling, wellness coaching tasks, equipment orientations, fitness evaluations, and assisting members on the wellness floor. Current nationally recognized PT certification and CPR/AED/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, etc.)
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications

• Design and implement exercise programs for members.
• Work closely with members to build relationships and provide guidance on wellness.
• Conduct fitness evaluations and provide equipment orientations.

DUTIES of a Personal Trainer

We are looking for personal trainers who are willing to work flexible hours to accommodate members' needs. It is also preferred that these individuals work hours as a Wellness Coach to utilize their time to build relationships with members, provide equipment orientations, conduct fitness evaluations, clean equipment, and assist members on the wellness floor.

QUALIFICATIONS Of a Personal Trainer

Personal trainers are required to have a current nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, etc.) as well as current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
