Job summary

YMCA Nazareth is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to work with members, designing personalized workout plans and providing motivation and support. The role offers part-time or full-time opportunities with hourly pay between $23.00 and $30.00.

Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one sessions and small group workouts, assessing fitness levels, demonstrating exercises, and delivering excellent customer service. Lifesaving CPR/First Aid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized personal training certificate (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) and knowledge of exercise science.
• Ability to develop individualized and group fitness programs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions and small group workouts.
• Assess clients' fitness levels and design customized fitness programs.
• Demonstrate exercises and provide guidance on technique and form.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster client relationships.
• Level II Trainers: lead group classes and donor-funded Pathway programs; create welcoming environments during peak hours (15 hrs min part-time).
