Job Summary
Anytime Fitnessis considered to be a premier place to work within the fitness industry, where we strive to help our members through coaching and community support. We are seeking a part time or full timeindividual who is highly motivated with a passion for helping others improve their lives through fitness, nutrition, and recovery. This position is part of ourgrowing Personal Training department and will beworking in a creative, fun, and upbeat atmosphere where each day is different.
Key Responsibilities
Fitness consultations – this person conducts fitness consultations for new members, which includes goal setting, a fitness assessment, sample workout, and recommendation of our trainingprograms.
Training services – an Anytime Fitness personal trainer delivers high-quality, custom 1-on-1 and pre-programmedgroup workouts energetically and safely.
Educator – educates clients on safe and effective trainingregimens, provides nutrition guidance, and promotes recovery.
Drives results – this person drives client success through client attendance and tracking
Understandshow to administer body scan technology and interpretresults (we will train you on this if it’s new to you)
Provides excellent customer service through member engagement and client accountability.
Goals & alignment – This person is responsible for achieving a monthlypersonal trainingrevenue goal established by managementteam
Partners alongside member sales team to promote membershipgrowth.
Attends weekly, monthly, and/or quarterlyteammeetings.
Cleanliness – ensures facility cleanliness andtidiness.
Continued learner – demonstrates a drive for career development through continued education and leadership opportunities and remains current on certifications, continuingeducationand new trends in the industry.
Qualifications
Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification (current or earned within first 60 days of employment)
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified(current or earned within first 60 days of employment)
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of fitness,endurance training,strength / power training andprogram design, using the tools given to optimize clientresults
Strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a groupsetting
Ability to work with clients from all walks of life, abilities and goals.
Appetite for delivering coaching services virtually through in-app messaging, video chatting and more; comfortable using computer software
Strong communication skills and team player.
Flexible schedule, days / nights and weekends
Preferred Attributes
1 year of personal training experience
Previous sales experience
Virtual personal training experience
Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
Compensation
$12-40+ per hour depending on schedule & client load
Additional commissions paid on training packages sold
