Position: Certified Personal Trainer

Location: FFC Lincoln Park

Job Type: Full-time only!

Compensation: Personal Trainers at FFC earn commission based on experience and certifications, ranging from $40 - $74 per session. New trainers can earn bonuses ($500-$1000/month) in their first 3 months.

Schedule & Responsibilities (First 60-90 Days):

• Choose 5+ shifts/week (6 hours each), including at least one weekend shift.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the InBody machine, Fitness Desk, etc.
• Oversee the fitness floor
• Greet members and build rapport
• Perform outreach (email/calls) to build your client base using sales techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in exercise physiology or related field
• Nationally accredited Personal Training certification
• 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience
• Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer
• CPR and AED certification

What You’ll Do:

• Grow your client base through prospecting
• Organize weekly appointments
• Work full-time (30 hours/week, including weekends)
• Help meet individual and department goals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Create personalized workout plans for members
• Assist members with exercises on the fitness floor
• Promote FFC programs matching members’ needs
• Help clients achieve fitness goals with quality training
• Keep certifications current
• Volunteer for community events
• Maintain detailed client records
