Job summary

EXOS is seeking a Performance Coach to join our corporate wellness center team. You will lead group exercise classes, conduct fitness assessments, and design personalized training plans for clients, including high-risk populations.

The role includes one-on-one coaching, motivation, and participation in health-promotion programs. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, current trainer certification (NASM/ACSM/NSCA/ACE), and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Current Personal Trainer certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE is required.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Minimum of 1+ years of industry experience; internship experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for varied fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe personalized exercise plans, and design programs for a wide range of clients.
• Offer one-on-one consultations, personalized training, and motivation.
• Assist in implementing incentive, health promotion, and other specialty programs to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Assist with additional duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing personality, strong customer service abilities, and a talent for building lasting client relationships.Minimum of 1+ years of industry experience; internship experience will be considered.Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $22 - $38/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
