Job summary

EXOS in Tampa is seeking a Performance Coach to join our corporate wellness center. You will design and deliver customized fitness programs, lead engaging group classes, and support clients in reaching their health goals.

You’ll assess fitness, tailor plans, supervise sessions for diverse populations, including high-risk clients, and help drive participation through incentives and program initiatives while maintaining a safe, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Nationally accredited certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE) preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe personalized exercise plans, and design workout programs.
• Offer one-on-one consultations, personalized training, and motivation.
• Assist with incentive programs, health promotion, and specialty initiatives.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Assist with additional duties to support day-to-day operations.
