Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in Lancaster, CA is seeking a Certified Peer Support Counselor to use your lived experience to engage clients and support recovery across ages. The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, with starting pay of $20.52–$22.03 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide outreach, advocacy, and direct services, serving as a role model while engaging in paid CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have personal lived experience in child welfare, probation, or mental health systems.
• Peer Support Specialist Certification: completion within one year preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, engagement, and direct services to clients across ages.
• Offer support, advocacy, and education while serving as a role model.
• Utilize lived experience to promote recovery and re-integration.
