Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to recognize strengths, set goals, and make informed decisions.
• Support advocacy and access to needed resources and services, while advocating for consumers.
• Provide emotional support via active listening, validation, encouragement, and sharing experiences.
• Assist during crises, de-escalate situations, and connect to appropriate services.
• Teach practical skills like problem solving, communication, stress management, and relapse prevention.
• Guide individuals through complex service systems and accompany to appointments.
