Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to join our program in Philadelphia County - Philadelphia, PA 19119. The CPS will work with individuals in recovery, providing peer support, information, and encouragement in community, inpatient, or emergency settings to help regain control over their lives and recovery journey.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30a–4:30p, with a pay rate of $20.26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a department approved peer services training.
• Obtain and maintain the CPS certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and information to individuals in recovery.
• Model recovery-oriented practice and advocate for consumers.
• Offer support in community, inpatient, or emergency settings.
• Collaborate with team members to promote recovery and engagement.
