Job summary

Personalized Nursing LIGHT House (PNLH) in Plymouth, MI seeks a Certified Peer Recovery Coach to deliver recovery-oriented peer support under supervision. The role includes client transportation and coordinating with site staff to support engagement, stability, and recovery planning.

Requirements include CCAR and MCBAP certifications, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years in recovery. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CCAR Peer Recovery Coach training or certification required.
• MCBAP Certification (Development Plan) within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years in recovery for peer certification.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical, recovery-focused peer support.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transitions in care.
• Transport clients to housing, services, and program activities as needed.
• Maintain contact with alumni and perform relapse outreach.
• Demonstrate a caring, trauma-informed approach in all interactions.
• Apply the LIGHT Model in client and team interactions.
