Job summary

Sound Behavioral Health in Auburn, WA is seeking a certified peer counselor to join our clinical team. The role supports clients with lived experience to foster hope and recovery, working alongside licensed professionals in a community behavioral health setting. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM at 4238 Auburn Way N, Auburn, WA 98002.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing and implementing the recovery plan, including identifying life goals and the steps needed to achieve them.
• Identifies services and activities that promote recovery and resilience.
• Supports clients and their families in making their own choices and taking responsibility for their own recovery.
• Assist clients with navigating the behavioral health and criminal justice systems.
• Assists clients in building self-advocacy skills and developing coping skills.
• Assists clients with finding and retaining employment, education, and volunteer work.
