Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a full-time patient care technician to perform treatments and assist in patient care under RN supervision. Duties include documenting procedures, maintaining a safe environment, and communicating with patients and families.

Requirements include a High School Grad or Equiv, 1+ years of applicable PCT bedside care preferred, and BLS, CNA, CPCT/A, EMT certifications. Pay range: $16.02–$25.63/hr in Florida, with standard background screening.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
• 1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred].
• Previous bedside patient care in acute care or similar role [Preferred].

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure and provides patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Documents and reports procedures in accordance with department policy.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
