Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as a patient care technician or completion of specific training programs.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report patient concerns/changes to a registered nurse.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and general patient care.
• Record vital signs and assist with personal hygiene.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification in Basic Life Support

Completion of WVUM Patient Care Technician program
