Job summary

AdventHealth Denver seeks a dedicated Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our day shift team. You will support patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, perform treatments per policy, and help maintain a safe, clean environment across the unit.

The role requires a High School diploma, CPR/Life Support, and CNA or equivalent certification; 1+ year PCT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1+ year of PCT experience preferred.
• Active CNA certification or similar credential required.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assists in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
