Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must meet one of: nationally certified patient care technician; completion of WVU Patient Care Technician program; current CNA certification (Ohio or WV).

Responsibilities

• Observe and report patient concerns to a registered nurse.
• Assist RN with admissions, transfers, discharges, and routine care.
• Record vital signs and assist with hygiene and comfort.
• Assist in specimen collection and other assigned tasks.
