Job summary

Easterseals NH in Manchester, NH seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Easterseals Gammon Academy, a certified special education school for youth ages 8-21. You will support fine motor, visual motor, executive functioning and sensory integration skills under the supervision of an OT.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, and $24.04 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, retirement match, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OTA program degree required.
• Current NBCOT certification as COTA.
• Current NH OT Assistant license in good standing.
• Meet state and federal practice requirements; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer OT programs per IEP and supervising OT guidance.
• Collaborate with supervising OTR and school staff on treatment plans.
• Promote education and rehabilitation services within IEP processes.
• Provide written/illustrated exercise programs when appropriate.
• Document student progress accurately in medical records.
• Attend departmental meetings and support staff development.
