Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in Texas is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based rehab services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
Evidence-based practice is used in interventions.
Experience level open to therapists at all levels.

Responsibilities

Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising OT.
Provides counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
Assists with discharge planning and summary documentation.
