Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in Albuquerque is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facilities. You will deliver evidence-based therapy under supervision of an OT and help residents regain independence.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT Assistant in good standing.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and documents patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
