Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation seeks a Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist (CPO) to lead assessment, plan, and delivery of orthotic and prosthetic care. You will collaborate with physicians and a care team to design and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring optimal function and patient outcomes.

The role requires a CPO/BOC certification, a degree in orthotics and prosthetics (CAAHEP) or equivalent, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills with upper and lower limb prosthetics and orthotics across age groups.
• Bachelor's or higher in orthotics/prosthetics (CAAHEP) or Bachelor's with a post-graduate certificate (CAAHEP).
• Certification by ABC for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (CPO) or BOC.

Responsibilities

• Staff provide patient care within license/certification scope.
• Assess patients to determine functional orthotic/prosthetic interventions.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans with referring physicians and other care providers.
• Oversee certified assistants and follow-up treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation and comply with policies and regulations.
• Maintain mandatory education and adhere to professional codes.
