Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in orthotics and prosthetics? or a Bachelor’s degree plus a post-graduate orthotics and prosthetic certificate from a CAAHEP accredited program.
• Certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (CPO) or Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
• Adherence to ADA; accommodation policy applies to applicants and employees.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with movement impairment to determine functional interventions.
• Produce orthotic/prosthetic devices as prescribed by physicians.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans with other healthcare providers.
• Oversee certified assistants and ensure follow-up treatment for successful outcomes.
• Maintain records and comply with policies to protect patients.
