Hanger Clinic in Anderson, SC seeks a Certified Orthotic Fitter / Certified Orthotic & Prosthetic Assistant to provide independent patient care for orthotic devices and to collaborate with clinicians. You will evaluate devices, ensure proper fit, and educate patients while maintaining detailed records.

The role requires ABC certification, a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), and a valid driver's license.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Current certification as a Certified Fitter or Orthotics (ABC).
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver's license and driving record within policy standards.

Responsabilidades

• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Provide independent patient care for devices within scope.
• Evaluate orthotic devices and adjust for fit, function, and efficacy.
• Instruct patients in use of orthotic devices.
• Identify and resolve issues to ensure patient satisfaction with devices.
• Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records.
• Assist administrative staff with reimbursement activities.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians.
• Deliver in-service training to physicians and allied health staff.
• Support other clinical staff as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations; comply with HIPAA, Medicare, OSHA.
