Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL is hiring a Certified OR Technician to support the surgical team under the supervision of the RN and Surgeon. You will scrub for various procedures, maintain sterile technique, and assist with instruments and supplies.

Qualifications include graduation from a Surgical Technician program, HS diploma, BCLS within 30 days, and certification as a Surgical Technologist (TS-C or CST). Equal opportunity employer.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary health care teamin clinical support functions andpromote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.TheSurgical Technicianwill work in collaborationunder the direction of the RN and Surgeonduring surgical procedures.

• Performscrub duties for various surgical procedures
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases
• Communicates andparticipatesin patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN
  
  

What qualifications will you need?

• Graduation fromSurgical Technician program
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Surgical Technologist Certification is required
• (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist
