Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking an OR Surgical Tech to assist with a wide range of surgical procedures across general, orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, ENT, and other specialties. They must be able to work in both elective and non-elective surgeries.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree or surgical technology program, CST certification, and BLS. Hospital teamwork and patient-centered care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate Degree of Applied Science, or Surgical Technology preferred.
• Less than one (1) year job related experience including clinical's taken in a surgical technology program.
• One (1) or more year job related experience preferred.
• Certification in Surgical Technology (CST).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Main OR Surgical Techs assist with a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, ENT, and others.
• They are required to perform in elective and non-elective surgeries.
