Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, seeks an Operating Room Technician to support patient care and intraoperative procedures. The role requires CST certification, BLS, and completion of an approved ORT program with at least one year of ORT experience in a major operating room.

You will work under licensed nursing staff in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School.
• 1 year ORT job experience in major operating room.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA per NRS 449.24185.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing patient care, patient service activities, procedures, clerical duties and assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
