Monday-Friday 7:30-5:00 with full day and 1/2 days off per pay period
The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant engages with patients, seeks to understand patient needs, and gathers information for the ophthalmologist. They will perform visual function and diagnostic tests as directed by the ophthalmologist/optometrist. The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant also performs duties as a scribe during the provider's exam.
Required:
Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.
Benefits & Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $20.20-$29.30 initial pay based on relevant work experience.
Additional compensation if candidate is already Certified as an Ophthalmic Assistant or Medical Assistant, or a Licensed Practical Nurse.
