Job summary

Mass General Brigham's ophthalmology team at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support patient care and the clinical team, under the guidance of the Chief Ophthalmic Technician.

You will provide hands-on ophthalmic technical support, learn new clinical skills, and help ensure patients have a smooth, high-quality visit; COA certification and at least one year of supervised ophthalmic experience are required. Onsite, daytime shifts, 16 hours weekly.

Job Summary

Join our ophthalmology team as an Ophthalmic Technician, where you'll play an important role in supporting patient care and the clinical team. Under the guidance of the Chief Ophthalmic Technician and Service/Site Manager, you'll provide hands‑on ophthalmic technical support and help ensure patients receive a smooth, high‑quality experience throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Current JCAHPO certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) in good standing.
• At least one year of experience working as an ophthalmic assistant in a supervised clinical setting.
