Qualifications

  • COA certification through JCAHPO required and must be maintained.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an ophthalmic assistant.

Our Stoneham location provides both Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Retina services, giving you the opportunity to work alongside experienced providers and clinical professionals while gaining exposure to a variety of ophthalmic specialties.This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with a consistent 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule and no weekends.Whether you are an experienced Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or looking to continue developing your skills in ophthalmology, this role offers opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge, gain hands-on experience with ophthalmic technology, and grow as part of a collaborative care team.About the RoleUnder the direction of the Chief Ophthalmic Technician and Service/Site Manager, the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant provides clinical and technical support throughout the outpatient eye care experience.
