Qualifications

• Proficient in FORDS, ICD-10 Coding, AJCC TNM, Collaborative Staging and SEER.
• Excellent organizational skills with detail orientation.
• Ability to achieve productivity goals under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Abstract a wide range of medical data from the EMR and code it in compliance with data standards.
• Ensure adherence to data management protocols per state and national requirements.
• Support cancer program development and provide information to researchers and clinicians.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines (FORDS, AJCC, SEER) and terminology.
• Participate in policy development and special projects as required.
