What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support for policies and procedures related to treatment authorizations and long-term services and supports
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues while following established guidelines
- Coordinate documentation and communication regarding benefit administration determinations
- Assist with home modifications, vehicle modifications, and durable medical equipment needs
- Evaluate situations or data requiring in-depth analysis of variable factors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in the state of Michigan
- Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy with current licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant in Michigan
- At least 2 years of experience working in Occupational Therapy
- Experience with Medicaid and/or Medicare Plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Health Plan experience
- Previous experience in discharge planning and/or home health or rehabilitation
- Bilingual skills (Spanish, Arabic, Chaldean Neo-Aramaic, or other)
