KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP in Puyallup, WA is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support post-acute rehab services under the supervision of licensed therapists.

You will implement treatment plans, document care accurately, communicate with patients, families, physicians and the rehab team, and maintain licensure and compliance in a fast-paced nursing home environment.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires teamwork, strong clinical skills, and dedication to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program and licensed as required.
• Good understanding of Medicare and payer processes.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret clinical information in English.
• Demonstrated ability to document patient care accurately and timely.
• Ability to work under supervision of licensed therapists in a rehab setting.
• Experience with long-term care a plus.

• Implements and executes on established patient treatment plans under supervision.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians and rehab team.
• Provides timely written documentation per facility requirements.
• Develops and enhances clinical skills through ongoing learning.
• Ensures treatment variations are communicated to the team.
