Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN, days schedule in the Rehab unit. You will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to deliver therapy per treatment plans and mentor rehab staff as needed.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, Georgia licensure or compact privileges, and BLS certification. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities:

Functions under the direct supervision of the occupational therapist responsible for a specific patient's care. The certified occupational therapist assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an occupational therapist. Responsible for the care of patients treated by rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
