Piedmont Henry Hospital seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work under an occupational therapist to deliver modalities and treatments per an approved plan, supporting patient progress and safety.

Georgia licensure or compact privileges at hire is required, along with BLS. No prior experience is required, making this an excellent entry into a growing, patient-centered care environment.

Responsibilities

Functions under the direct supervision of the occupational therapist responsible for a specific patient's care. The certified occupational therapist assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an occupational therapist. Responsible for the care of patients treated by rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

• Associate's Degree from an approved Occupational Therapist Assistant Program Required

Licenses and Certifications

• COTA - Occupational Therapy Assistant - Certified Current licensure in the State of Georgia or current compact privileges in Georgia Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire Required
