Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP in Texas is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one pediatric therapy in homes, daycares, and schools. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, with structured scheduling and meaningful treatment sessions.

You will work under a licensed OT, support family education, document accurately, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by anticipated start date.
• Pediatric experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under direction of a licensed OT per treatment plans.
• Improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, and ADLs.
• Educate families/caregivers on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program


• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license by anticipated start date


• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply


• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
