Job summary

Fairfax Nursing Center is seeking a caring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and support program implementation under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will implement OT-developed plans, collaborate with facility staff, and help improve patients' physical, mental and social well-being.

Flexible FT/PT/PRN hours are available and immediate start is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an OTA program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Maintains certification through the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board (preferred).
• Minimum of one year experience as an OTA in acute care, outpatient, community health or home health in the past two years (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement programs developed by the Occupational Therapist in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with facility staff to enhance the physical, mental and social well-being for patients.

Fairfax Nursing Center is in need of hiring a caring and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. The COTA will be responsible for implementing programs developed by the Occupational Therapist in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will also collaborate with facility staff to enhance the physical, mental and social well-being for patients.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from a school of Occupational Therapy Assistant accredited with the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Maintains certification through the American Occupational Therapy Certification Boardpreferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience in an acute care facility, outpatient setting, community health service or Home Health agency in the past two years as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) preferred.
