Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide compassionate home health visits across Green Valley and South Tucson. This part-time or full-time opportunity emphasizes quality care in clients’ homes.

Applicants must be Arizona-licensed OTAs, willing to travel, and meet credential requirements, with supervision under an Occupational Therapist. BAYADA supports growth through training and career development.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Arizona.
• Must travel within assigned territory.
• Graduate of an OTA curriculum accredited by AMA/AOTA or equivalent.
• Two years of OTA experience and proficiency exam eligibility as of 1977 rule.
• At least one year of work under OT supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health visits as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Green Valley and South Tucson.
• Travel within assigned territory to deliver care.
• Collaborate with supervising Occupational Therapist to plan and implement patient care.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health care visits for clients located throughout the Green Valley and South Tucson area. This is a part time or full time opportunity.

Each Occupational Therapist Assistant must:

• Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the state of Arizona


• Must be willing to travel in assigned territory.


• Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma; or


• Have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977


• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
