Salary Range: $29-37/hour, DOE

Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA, OTA) in Home Health provides occupational therapy to patients in their homes, aiming to restore their physical abilities. Duties are performed according to policies, procedures, and the established care plan.

• Follow all state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care, adhering strictly to treatment plans defined by the supervising OT.
• Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based treatments within the scope of practice and legal regulations.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising OT, nurse, and/or physician; coordinate care with the healthcare team as appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members in therapy-related areas within the OTA scope.

Education and Experience

License Requirements

• Current OTA licensure in Colorado.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
