Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, IA, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options, with competitive pay and full benefits.

You will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to implement customized therapy programs, help patients regain independence, monitor progress, and educate families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.

Qualifications

• Must hold State of Iowa Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Experience preferred, but new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities through targeted therapy exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their therapy sessions.
