What You Will Do:

  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-up care programs.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
  • Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
  • Adhere to the company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree.
  • Current and valid state OTA license or certificate of practice in the states where services are provided.
  • CPR certification (if required).
