Job description

Facility Name: Kindred Hospital - Paramount
Setting: LTACH and float to ARU as needed
FTE: PRN
City/State: Paramount, CA

What you will do in this role:

  1. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  2. Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
  3. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
  4. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
  5. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws
  6. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Candidates must have certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
  2. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree
  3. Current and valid state OTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in the states where services are rendered
  4. CPR certification (when required)

Salary range: $36 - $38 per hour. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
