Full-Time · 30-35 hrs/week · Memory-Care Program | Inpatient Correctional Setting

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based ADL training, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive-equipment education under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist in evaluating and progressing individualized care plans for patients with dementia and related conditions.
  • Track and document outcomes, reporting changes promptly to the OT and broader care team.
  • Educate patients—and staff when appropriate—on safe transfers, fall-prevention, and cognitive-compensation strategies.
  • Uphold a culture of safety by maintaining equipment, following security protocols, and ensuring a therapeutic environment at all times.
Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Accredited OTA degree and active (or eligible) Ohio OTA license with NBCOT certification.
  • Experience in geriatrics, or memory-care populations.
  • Ability to work confidently and independently while staying in close alignment with your supervising OT.
Pay Range
USD $35.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
