We are seeking an Oklahoma licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) -OR- an Oklahoma licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) to fill an immediate need in our growing Shawnee Clinic. Our Clinic, specializing in pediatrics, is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6 pm. We are closed Friday through Sunday. We offer flexible hours.
COTA/L Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals of all ages, including pediatrics and adults.
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and reach their maximum level of independence.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and goals.
- Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area.
OTR/L Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- COTA/L must have a valid, active State of Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Assistant License (COTA).
- OTR/L must have a valid, active State of Oklahoma Occupational Therapy License.
Both COTA and OTR must have:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging.
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric patients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases and documentation requirements.
